Question of the Week:
- What’s the one shade you wish you could pull off, but can’t?
This is a constant dilemma in my life. I wish I could pull off shades of grey. Every fall beautiful shades of grey are released either in fashion or in cosmetics, and every year I have to wave hello to them from a distance. Why? Well, because grey just does not look good on me. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the blue undertones in grey, maybe it's my skin tone that doesn't match, maybe it's because I like cranberry juice- who knows, all I know is that grey and I are not friends and I wish we were.
Let's stop being negative and move on to this weeks links...

I don't think I pull off greys too but I still buy them.
Maybe something about my skin tone. I don't look "glowing" when I'm wearing grey..
while I wear grey for clothes, I gave up wearing them on my nails. Coz my hands would look like hands of a dead person.
I know everyone says there is a shade of red lipstick for people but I just look clownish in any shade. LOL No blue-reds or orange-reds for me. Some pastel nail polish shades make my hands look hideous and old too. XD
I tend to look a bit tired in olive greens.. it's not all greens, just a particular shade of olive, I think.. Oh and MAC's Folie shadow also made me look tired, but I tried it way back when I was not really good at shadow blending and placement =/
About the grey shadows... would you kill me if I suggested a favorite grey shadow of mine from Chantecaille?? ;) I know, I know... Ok so it is called Meterorite, a deep steel grey, very flattering, no blue undertone. Zinc is also a warm grey that is excellent. Let me know if you like any of these..
:)
@Rae, I know what you mean. I'm glad I am not the only one!
@Kalmo, Red lipstick is tough too, I think it's more about getting use to wearing red lipstick.
@Lakshmi, You have yet to steer me wrong on products so I might have to test out Meteorite and Zinc. Who knows I might find my grey. =)
